TNM T1-2, N1, M0
The tumor has spread to the hilar nodes .

Standard Treatment  This stage is likewise treated with surgery. Once again, patients unable to withstand this kind of rigorous surgery may be candidates for radiation therapy with intent to cure.

Five-Year Survival  10 to 35 percent

• Trials are exploring the use of radiation therapy and/or
  chemotherapy before surgery to see if the cure rate can be
  improved.
